Caravan Series

What was to become an obsession with caravans started with an abandoned and vandalised static home in Reculver, Kent.
It brought out the stalker in me, a voyeur, filming, photographing and drawing my subject and eventually stepping inside and taking a souvenir.
There is something in my nature and likely in human nature that impels us to go where we are forbidden.
Once my curiosity was piqued I found caravans everywhere and they in turn sparked my imagination. What was their story and the story of their occupants?
So I drew them, photographed them, used them as vehicles to explore ideas on paper, including screen prints and etchings.
At the time they were not immediately popular but I have subsequently sold all of the paintings. They found their audience and I feel I have now moved on too.
However some prints on paper are still available to buy.
